Welcome to A Yogi’s Mind! My name is Melissa and I am excited to help you along your path to wellness. I hope you find some helpful information about yoga, asana practice, and mindfulness here.
Here I provide a blog covering various yoga related topics, my weekly teaching schedule, and information about workshops.
You can find information about scheduling a private lesson with me under the “Private Classes” tab. I offer restorative, gentle, beginner’s flow, vinyasa flow, Hatha, and chair classes. My hours are flexible, so let me know when you are available for class!
I also offer senior yoga classes to rehab and nursing facilities. Check under the “Yoga for Seniors” tab for more information.
I am a Certified 500 hour yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance, and a Reiki Master. No matter your age, flexibility, or physical ability, I am ready and willing to meet you where you are. Fear not! My number one concern is protecting you from injury while providing you with clear instruction on how to stretch those overtired or underused muscles.
Come attend one of my studio classes at Live Oak Wellness or Project 7 this week! I am also available for private classes scheduled in your home or your favorite park where you can allow your mind to rest.
